2019 – present PhD in Biological Sciences – Behavior, Ecology, Evolution, and Systematics Concentration. University of Maryland, College Park, MD. Expected graduation: 2024. Working Thesis title: The evolution of carnivory and regenerative ability in freshwater annelids.
Teaching
During my time at the University of Maryland, I have worked as a teaching assistant for courses in anatomy, organismal biology, and genetics.
Awards
I recently received the Ann G. Wylie dissertation fellowship from the University of Maryland Graduate school. This is a competitive $15,000 stipend award that eliminates the need for me to take a TAship and enables me to focus entirely on my research in the Fall 2024 semester.
